Recent polling ahead of Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election shows the Social Democrats leading, followed by the Sweden Democrats, with the Moderate Party consistently placed third in most surveys. This positioning underpins trader consensus favoring the Moderates for third place, as the Sweden Democrats have maintained a clear margin over the Moderates in recent Novus and other aggregates. Late-campaign tightening between the blocs, including the Liberals rising above the 4% threshold, has introduced some volatility but has not altered the established party ranking in the latest data. Historical patterns of limited last-minute swings in Swedish elections further support the current implied probabilities reflected in market pricing.
