Parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Sweden on September 13, 2026. This market will resolve according to the official voter turnout rate in the specified election, defined as the total number of votes cast divided by the total number of eligible voters (see 2022 example: https://www.val.se/valresultat/riksdag-region-och-kommun/2022/valresultat.html). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, this market will resolve to the higher bracket. If the results of this election are not known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. The resolution source for this market will be official information published by the Swedish Election Authority (Valmyndigheten, https://www.val.se/).Record advance voting has surged to nearly one million ballots by early September, a 40% increase over 2022 levels, supporting trader expectations that overall turnout will cluster in the 84-86% range for the September 13 parliamentary election. A tightening race between the centre-left opposition and the right-wing bloc led by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has heightened visibility in the final campaign days, typically sustaining participation near historical averages. Sweden’s fixed election calendar, high registration rates exceeding 8 million eligible voters, and concurrent municipal and regional contests further anchor probabilities around these levels, while the absence of major disruptions or weather concerns limits downside risk below 82%.
