The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Arkansas, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Arkansas Senate Election: Turnout** Trader consensus centers on the 825K-900K vote range because the November 3, 2026, contest features a low-competition midterm race in a solidly Republican state. Incumbent Tom Cotton holds a substantial lead over Democrat Hallie Shoffner across forecasts and limited polling, reducing mobilization incentives for both parties. Arkansas has posted below-average turnout in recent cycles, including 41.5% of eligible voters in the 2022 midterms and 53.5% in the higher-stakes 2024 presidential election. With no major late-breaking developments, scandals, or high-profile ballot measures generating extra interest in the past month, expectations remain anchored to typical midterm participation patterns in the state. Scheduled events such as early voting and absentee deadlines have not yet produced measurable shifts in projections.
