Heavy rainfall and associated cloud cover from a persistent weather system are suppressing maximum temperatures in Tokyo on September 21, with official forecasts centering on highs of 23–26°C amid 100% precipitation probability and northerly winds. These conditions limit daytime heating compared to typical late-September norms near 28°C, as reduced insolation and evaporative cooling from steady rain favor the market's leading outcomes at 24°C (36.5%), 25°C (26.5%), and 23°C (24.5%). Model consensus from agencies like the Japan Meteorological Agency reinforces this range, with minimal upside risk unless the rain band weakens earlier than expected.
