Current National Weather Service guidance and supporting model consensus project a high near 68–70°F for Seattle on September 20 under continued onshore flow on the backside of an upper-level ridge. Morning low clouds and patchy fog will yield to partly sunny skies by afternoon, allowing modest solar heating while marine air keeps temperatures from climbing much higher. This places the outcome squarely between the two leading market bins (68–69°F at 31% and 70–71°F at 27.5%), with the narrow spread reflecting minor differences in forecast timing of clearing and boundary-layer mixing rather than any major pattern shift. Historical climatology for the date centers near 69°F, reinforcing why traders have clustered probabilities in this narrow window ahead of final observations.
