Official forecasts from Environment Canada and supporting model guidance position a 17°C high as the leading outcome for Toronto on September 22, driven by building high pressure, sunny skies, and moderate northeast winds limiting daytime warming after Monday’s cooler readings. Recent cooling from a post-weekend high-pressure setup has kept surface temperatures suppressed relative to seasonal norms near 20°C, with afternoon maxima projected around 16–17°C across multiple guidance sources. Traders appear to weigh the tight clustering of official outlooks against minor model spread on wind strength and boundary-layer mixing that could allow a brief push toward 18°C or hold the peak at 16°C. Final overnight model runs and morning observations will provide the last updates before resolution.
