Recent polling in the Ceará Senate race shows Cid Gomes (PSB) holding a lead for one seat while Capitão Wagner (União) and Luizianne Lins (Rede) remain closely matched for the second, with margins often inside survey error. Multiple late-August and early-September surveys from Datafolha, Quaest, and Real Time Big Data place Wagner and Lins within a few points of each other in consolidated first-plus-second vote totals, amid high shares of undecided and blank ballots. The dual-vote system, overlapping alliances with gubernatorial tickets, and regional voter bases have kept separation limited, with smaller candidates such as Alcides Fernandes (PL) drawing limited but potentially decisive support. Upcoming campaign events and final coalition alignments before the October vote could shift the ordering among the top three contenders.
