Recent polls for the October 4 Amazonas Senate contest show Eduardo Braga (MDB) frequently leading combined first- and second-vote totals, particularly in the interior, while Capitão Alberto Neto (PL) remains competitive overall and stronger in Manaus. This geographic split and elevated undecided shares (often exceeding 10-15%) sustain volatility around the second seat. Neto’s positioning in late-August and early-September surveys, including Veritá and Paraná Pesquisas releases, underpins trader pricing that assigns him the clearest path to second place ahead of Braga, Wilson Lima (União Brasil), and Plínio Valério (PSDB). Minor candidates register negligible support, leaving the outcome sensitive to turnout patterns and any final shifts in voter consolidation before election day.
