Željka Cvijanović maintains a commanding lead in trader consensus for the Serb seat on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s tripartite Presidency ahead of the October 4, 2026 general elections. As the incumbent since 2022 and SNSD nominee backed by the ruling coalition in Republika Srpska, she benefits from the party’s organizational strength and consistent success in entity-level contests. Recent developments, including SNSD ally Siniša Karan’s narrow victory in the 2025–2026 Republika Srpska presidential election rerun, underscore the party’s continued control despite a fragmented opposition field featuring candidates such as Nebojša Vukanović, Draško Stanivuković, and Branko Blanuša. Voters in Republika Srpska directly elect the position under plurality rules, where SNSD’s voter base provides a structural edge reflected in current implied probabilities.
