Dylan Kruger of One Delta follows closely, drawing on council experience and pledges for no new taxes or fees amid affordability pressures, while Melissa Granum of Delta First trails further with a platform centered on accountability, public safety, and health-care access. A council split in late 2025 created the main challenger slate, and nominations closed September 11 with the official campaign underway since September 19.
