**Forecasts from the National Weather Service and other meteorological sources indicate a low around 60–63°F for San Francisco on September 10, 2026, aligning closely with the market’s leading outcomes.** Recent heat, including a high of 92–94°F on September 9 at downtown and airport stations, has elevated overnight temperatures above the historical average low of 56°F for the date. Persistent onshore southwest winds of 10–20 mph, combined with a moderating marine influence and lack of significant cooling from the Pacific, are limiting radiative heat loss and keeping minimum temperatures in the low-to-mid 60s. Model consensus and observational trends support this range, with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies overnight further moderating the drop. Historical analogs from recent warm September periods show similar overnight lows when daytime heat lingers. The market-implied probabilities—46% for 62–63°F, 31.5% for 64–65°F, and 22% for 60–61°F—reflect trader aggregation of these near-term forecast details and the absence of any incoming cold air or stronger marine push that could push readings lower. Resolution will depend on official minimum readings from primary stations like downtown San Francisco or the airport.
