The market's near-certain pricing on a 23°C high for Toronto on September 11, 2026, reflects official observations matching the 1991–2020 climatological average high for that date. Clear skies and light winds under a stable high-pressure pattern produced typical late-summer conditions without significant warm or cool advection, aligning model guidance from Environment and Climate Change Canada with the long-term baseline. Historical analogs show September 11 highs clustering near this value in non-extreme years. A realistic challenge would require a measurement revision from the primary station or an unrecognized microscale influence shifting the daily maximum outside the 23°C bin, though current data consensus makes such an outcome improbable.
