This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Tennessee. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Tennessee, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Tennessee’s open gubernatorial contest, created by term-limited Republican Bill Lee, represents the main upward pressure on participation for the November 3 general election, historically adding points to midterm turnout in a state that typically ranks near the bottom nationally. Traders have clustered probabilities tightly around the 1.6 million to 2.2 million vote ranges because the solidly Republican Senate matchup between incumbent Bill Hagerty and Democrat Marquita Bradshaw offers limited statewide mobilization, even as down-ballot races add some incentive. August primaries produced elevated early voting and localized Democratic enthusiasm in areas such as Shelby County linked to redistricting, yet these signals have not shifted expectations into higher bins. Upcoming early voting from October 14–29 and the October 5 registration deadline will provide further data points on whether participation separates from the current narrow trading range.
