This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Governor of Nevada. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Governor of Nevada, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Trader consensus centers on 1.05M–1.125M total votes cast in Nevada’s November 3, 2026 gubernatorial election.** This range reflects expectations for a competitive off-year race between incumbent Republican Joe Lombardo and Democratic Attorney General Aaron Ford, where recent polling averages show Lombardo ahead by roughly four points. Voter rolls stand near 2.06 million active registrations after extensive maintenance that inactivated or canceled hundreds of thousands of entries, shrinking the Democratic edge to just hundreds of voters while nonpartisans remain the largest bloc. The June 2026 primary produced modest turnout near 20 percent, aided slightly by competitive northern congressional contests but limited by the absence of a U.S. Senate race. Mail ballots continue to dominate, early voting begins October 17, and a voter ID constitutional amendment appears on the ballot. These structural elements, combined with typical midterm participation patterns, position the leading bin as the market’s implied probability anchor.
