Incumbent Beth Van Duyne holds a strong position in Texas’s 24th congressional district ahead of the November 3, 2026 general election, reflecting the seat’s established Republican lean and her unopposed March primary. The suburban Dallas-Fort Worth district, adjusted under the 2025 redistricting map upheld by the Supreme Court, has favored Republican candidates in recent cycles, including a comfortable 2024 margin. Van Duyne’s substantial fundraising advantage—exceeding $2.5 million compared to challenger Kevin Burge’s roughly $210,000—supports her campaign infrastructure. Burge, a Marine veteran who won the Democratic runoff in May, faces structural headwinds typical of challengers in Solid Republican-rated seats according to outlets like the Cook Political Report and Sabato’s Crystal Ball. Trader consensus aligns with these district fundamentals and limited recent shifts in polling or endorsements.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
