Lula leads the implied probability for first place in Amazonas' October 4 first-round presidential voting at 66.5 percent, ahead of Flávio Bolsonaro at 33.5 percent, with all other listed candidates at or below 0.2 percent. Recent state-level surveys from August, including Real Time Big Data and Quaest, showed the two frontrunners statistically tied or with Lula holding a narrow edge around 38-40 percent to 35-39 percent, driven by the president's stronger support in the state's interior municipalities offsetting Flávio Bolsonaro's competitiveness in Manaus. National polling trends and regional factors such as incumbency advantages, voter turnout patterns among key blocs, and campaign focus on development and security issues have reinforced trader consensus on Lula's position in this state contest.
