In Sergipe’s Senate race, voters select two candidates on October 4 amid a fragmented field of 11 registered contenders, including incumbents Rogério Carvalho (PT) and Alessandro Vieira (MDB) alongside challengers André Moura (União Brasil), Delegado André David (Republicanos), Eduardo Amorim (Republicanos), and Rodrigo Valadares (PL). Recent surveys show tight clustering among the top names with single-digit to low-teen support levels, elevated undecided shares exceeding 15 percent, and substantial blank or null responses, reflecting voter hesitation and the mechanics of dual selection. Coalition alignments formalized in August and ongoing media scheduling have yet to produce decisive separation, sustaining trader consensus around several contenders for second place while leaving room for shifts from further polling releases or intensified campaign visibility in the final weeks.
