The open-seat race in Michigan’s 10th Congressional District has produced a competitive general-election matchup between Democratic nominee Christina Hines and Republican nominee Mike Bouchard following their August 4 primaries. Prediction markets assign Hines the lead, reflecting trader assessments of the district’s suburban Macomb and Oakland County electorate, limited available polling that has shown a statistical tie or narrow margins, and outside spending patterns that have favored the Democratic side. Bouchard benefited from an early Trump endorsement that consolidated Republican support in the primary, yet surveys have indicated the former president’s favorability remains underwater locally. Both candidates have raised substantial funds, and the race remains within the resolution window ahead of the November 3 ballot, with any shifts in national conditions or late-cycle turnout dynamics capable of altering the current consensus.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
