Current National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus for Houston on September 11 point to overnight lows in the upper 70s amid persistent tropical moisture, southerly flow, and scattered diurnal thunderstorms, with no significant frontal passage or drier air expected to arrive. This pattern follows recent observations of lows near 78–80°F and aligns with climatological tendencies for early September under similar high-moisture regimes. Trader positioning on 76–79°F ranges reflects these official guidance details and limited downside risk for cooler readings, while lower-probability tails capture potential model shifts or localized variations ahead of the next forecast updates.
