**Clear skies and stable high-pressure conditions are driving expectations for a daily maximum of 30–31°C in Ankara on September 10.** Official forecasts from the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM) and multiple numerical models project an afternoon peak near 30–31°C under sunny skies with light northerly winds and negligible cloud cover or precipitation. This aligns with the market’s heavy weighting toward 30°C (66%) and 31°C (29%), as traders incorporate the latest model consensus and real-time observations showing temperatures climbing from overnight lows around 14°C. Recent days featured slightly cooler readings (around 27–29°C), but persistent dry, stable atmospheric conditions have prevented further cooling and support typical early-September solar heating. Historical climatology places the September 10 average maximum near 26°C, so current warmth reflects a modest positive anomaly without extreme heatwave dynamics. With the day already underway and no incoming frontal systems or significant model shifts expected, resolution criteria favor the 30–31°C range absent an unusually strong late-day surge.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=ltac
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
