Dan Koh secured the Democratic nomination for Massachusetts’ open Sixth Congressional District on September 1 after topping a crowded primary field with substantial fundraising, union support, and endorsements from former President Biden and Vice President Harris. The North Shore district has long favored Democrats by wide margins in federal races, and forecasters rate the general election as solidly or safely Democratic. Republican nominee Micah Jones, an Army veteran and attorney who ran unopposed in his primary, trails significantly in resources and faces structural headwinds in a state that has not elected a Republican to the House in decades. Traders price Koh at 95.5 percent, reflecting this partisan baseline and campaign fundamentals. Scenarios that could alter the outcome remain limited to low-probability events such as a late scandal, health development, or sharp national political shift before the November 3 general election.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
