The Parti Québécois maintains a consistent lead in recent polling averages ahead of the October 5 election, positioning it as the frontrunner for the most seats in Quebec's National Assembly according to multiple seat models. This reflects sustained voter desire for change after the Coalition Avenir Québec's time in office, combined with the PQ's strength among francophone voters and its focus on sovereignty issues. The CAQ has shown some recovery under leader Christine Fréchette through emphasis on the economy and trade relations, narrowing gaps in certain regions, yet remains behind in overall support. The PLQ holds ground primarily in Montreal but trails overall, while smaller parties like the PCQ consolidate regionally without threatening the top two. Trader consensus on these probabilities aligns closely with current polling trends and projected seat outcomes.
