In the Rosemont riding for Quebec’s October 5, 2026, National Assembly election, trader pricing reflects a tight contest between Parti Québécois candidate Pierre-Luc Brillant and Québec solidaire’s Gisèle Pouhe Njall, with other nominees such as Liberal David Lavoie, CAQ’s Nour Aliyah Attié, and Conservative Mildred Mathieu trailing substantially. The riding, previously held by independent Vincent Marissal after his departure from QS, shows PQ support edging ahead in recent seat projections amid a broader provincial campaign where the PQ holds a polling lead but faces a fragmented opposition. Local priorities including hospital reconstruction, housing costs, and education infrastructure have featured in candidate statements since nominations closed in mid-September. Further separation could emerge from late-campaign polling shifts, turnout among Montreal voters, or developments in the wider race between the PQ and CAQ that influence second-choice preferences in this toss-up district.
