**Recent polling aggregates and seat models show the Parti Québécois holding a consistent lead in popular vote and projected seats ahead of the October 5 election, while the Coalition Avenir Québec has gained ground under new leader Christine Fréchette and the Parti Conservateur du Québec has strengthened in the Quebec City region.** The Quebec Liberal Party's support has declined from earlier peaks, leaving it with narrower regional bases concentrated on the Island of Montreal and among non-francophones. Current projections from aggregators such as 338Canada place the PLQ in the 25–37 seat range, frequently landing it behind the PQ and either the CAQ or PCQ depending on regional outcomes and vote efficiency. These dynamics, combined with the fragmented electoral map and ongoing campaign volatility, underpin trader consensus that the PLQ is the most likely party to finish third in seats.
