Current National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a low temperature near 64–67°F for Los Angeles on September 22, driven by persistent onshore flow and a moderating marine layer that typically caps overnight cooling in the coastal basin during late September. Recent observations show similar mid-60s minima amid mostly cloudy to partly clear skies and light southwest winds, with no strong offshore or heat-driven patterns emerging to push readings higher or lower. This consensus supports the market’s heaviest positioning on 66–67°F, while adjacent bins reflect remaining uncertainty in exact marine-layer depth and timing of any clearing. Updated model runs and NWS briefings ahead of the overnight period will provide the next key data points for resolution.
