**PAGASA's official outlook for Metro Manila on September 23 shows a forecast high of 33°C with an 80% rain chance under southwest monsoon influence, which has recently produced observed daily maxima near 33°C.** Persistent cloud cover and scattered afternoon thunderstorms typical of the season tend to cap peak heating by reducing solar insolation, explaining why market-implied odds cluster tightly between 32°C and 33°C rather than higher values. Short-range model guidance aligns with this range, though small differences in storm timing or monsoon strength could shift the exact maximum by 1–2°C. Updated PAGASA bulletins and the next global model runs will provide the key data points traders are watching ahead of resolution.
