**Traders assign near-certainty to a 33°C high on 21 September 2026 because official Meteorological Service Singapore guidance for the second half of the month projects daily maxima of 33–34°C under prevailing southwest monsoon conditions, with localized afternoon thundery showers.** Recent observations show September 2026 running 1–2°C above the long-term 31.6°C September mean, with multiple days already reaching 33–34.6°C amid typical humidity of 70–90% and light southeasterly winds. Model consensus and the National Environment Agency’s fortnightly outlook reinforce this narrow range, while historical September extremes rarely exceed 34–35°C. A realistic shift below 33°C would require stronger-than-expected convective cooling or earlier widespread rain; a move to 34°C or higher would need clearer skies and reduced shower activity during peak heating hours.
