Recent polling from Real Time Big Data (Sept. 17-21) shows Gracinha Caiado (União) leading consolidated first- and second-choice support at 23% for Goiás’s two Senate seats, with Gustavo Gayer (PL) at 20% and the next tier—Dr. Zacharias Calil (MDB) and Gustavo Mendanha (PRD)—at 12-13%. Earlier surveys from Quaest, Paraná Pesquisas, and IGAPE produced similar patterns, with Gayer repeatedly placing second or within the margin for that slot. The October 4 election timeline and voters’ ability to select two candidates reinforce this positioning, as lower-polling names face structural barriers to overtaking Gayer in the final weeks. Trader consensus therefore prices Gayer highest for second place while assigning far lower probabilities to the broader field.
