Recent National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model consensus point to a daytime high near 80°F for New York City on September 11, driven by clearing skies behind a cold front and moderate northwest flow that limits afternoon warming. This positions the 80-81°F bin as the market leader, with nearby ranges reflecting typical forecast uncertainty ranges of a few degrees. The projected value sits slightly above the long-term September 11 average high of roughly 78°F, consistent with seasonal variability but tempered by post-frontal air mass characteristics. Latest runs show limited model spread, supporting the current implied probabilities while noting that any unexpected cloud cover or wind shifts could nudge the outcome toward the 78-79°F or 82-83°F brackets before resolution.
