Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources indicate a high near 90°F for Miami on September 10, with partly sunny skies, 50% storm chances, and southeast winds that support typical late-summer convective development. Afternoon thunderstorms and increasing cloud cover often cap peak heating in South Florida, creating the tight split between the leading 88-89°F and 90-91°F bins at 42.5% and 35%. High humidity keeps heat indices above 100°F even if air temperatures stay near the long-term September 10 average of 89.6°F, while any delay in storm initiation could allow brief pushes into the low 90s. Updated model runs and real-time observations through the afternoon will determine the final maximum.
