This market will resolve to “Yes” if it is announced that that the listed individual will leave the Trump Administration, or otherwise ceases to be a member of administration by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement of the listed individual's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. The Trump administration includes individuals formally appointed by Donald Trump to roles within the U.S. federal government, such as Cabinet members, Executive Office staff, senior policy advisors, ambassadors, or White House staff whose appointments are publicly announced by official government channels. The primary resolution source will be official information from the Trump administration, however a consensus of credible reopening may also be used.High turnover has defined the second Trump administration, with nearly a quarter of non-Senate-confirmed political appointees departing in the first 18 months—far exceeding prior terms—and multiple Senate-confirmed officials exiting through firings or resignations. Recent examples include the removals of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Attorney General Pam Bondi, Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer’s resignation amid internal reviews, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s departure for family reasons, and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s planned exit by late August 2026. Additional departures among White House aides and Treasury officials stem from policy disagreements, personal considerations, and preparation for potential midterm shifts that could intensify congressional oversight. Defense Department changes under Secretary Pete Hegseth have also accelerated exits. Traders price these patterns against historical precedent of elevated second-term attrition and scheduled events like the November 2026 midterms that could prompt further cabinet or staff adjustments before 2027.
