Recent polling for Sergipe’s October 4 Senate contest shows a fragmented field with no candidate exceeding low double digits in most surveys, keeping first-place probabilities closely bunched around Delegado André David, André Moura, Rogério Carvalho and a handful of others. High undecided and blank/null shares above 20 percent in recent releases from Quaest, INOR and Real Time Big Data reflect limited name recognition and the impact of simultaneous gubernatorial and proportional races. Coalition alignments, regional strongholds and the two-vote system further dilute any single frontrunner’s advantage. Late-campaign television time, candidate debates and last-minute party switches could consolidate support and produce clearer separation before ballots are cast.
