**Forecast models and observational data position 17°C as the leading outcome for Munich’s highest temperature on September 22, 2026, with market-implied odds at 75.5%.** Multiple sources, including GFS-based and DWD-adjusted guidance, project a daytime maximum of 16–17°C (roughly 61–62°F) under partly cloudy skies, light northwest winds of 5–10 km/h, and negligible precipitation risk. This aligns with current early-morning readings near 8°C and a steady climb toward the afternoon peak. The implied probabilities reflect a narrow range around this consensus: 16°C and 18°C each carry only about 12% odds, while higher or lower values remain under 1%. Cooler-than-average conditions stem from a stable high-pressure regime suppressing warmer advection, keeping readings below the 1991–2020 September 22 climatological high of 18.8°C. Recent model runs show minimal spread, with no significant updates altering the expected maximum in the last 24 hours. Traders appear to be weighting the tight clustering of official and ensemble forecasts, which resolve on daily maximum temperature at standard Munich stations. With the day underway and limited further warming expected, the market consensus centers on 17°C as the most probable outcome.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=eddm
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
