Recent meteorological forecasts from multiple models, including GFS and ECMWF runs updated on September 14, indicate clear to mostly clear skies over Munich on September 15 under high pressure with light easterly winds. This setup supports daytime heating to afternoon highs of 24–26°C, well above the 1991–2020 September 15 average high of 19.6°C. Ensemble guidance shows low precipitation probability and minimal cloud cover, limiting cooling and positioning 25°C as the most probable peak. Minor model spread around exact maxima—driven by subtle differences in boundary layer mixing—explains the market's concentration on 24–26°C outcomes, with traders assigning over 85% implied probability to this narrow range ahead of final observational data.
