Current ensemble forecasts from global weather models place the highest temperature in Jeddah on September 12 most likely between 36°C and 38°C, aligning with the closely matched market-implied probabilities across those bins. In this coastal arid setting, peak values hinge on strong solar heating under mostly clear skies, light winds that limit vertical mixing, and the Red Sea's moderating sea breeze, which typically caps extremes near historical September averages of 35–37°C. Recent observations from early September show daytime maxima in the mid-to-upper 30s, while minor model disagreements center on exact peak timing and any weak moisture influences. Updated runs closer to the date will narrow the range.
