Traders assign near-certain probability to a Karachi high of 36°C or above on September 12 because multiple forecast models and observational trends show daytime maxima climbing well into the upper 30s Celsius amid typical late-summer conditions. Persistent clear skies, light westerly winds, and high humidity reduce nocturnal cooling while allowing strong daytime insolation to drive temperatures past historical September averages of 33–35°C. Official monitoring indicates minimal cloud cover or monsoon influence today, supporting rapid surface heating. A realistic challenge would require an unforecasted surge in cloudiness, localized thunderstorms, or a sharper-than-expected shift in steering winds that caps the peak below the 36°C threshold before resolution.
