Sílvia Cristina (PP) and Bruno Bolsonaro Scheid (PL) hold the highest implied probabilities for second place in Rondônia’s October 4 Senate contest, where voters select two candidates, reflecting recent polling trends that show Dr. Fernando Máximo (PL) leading overall while the second slot remains tightly contested. Surveys from August and early September, including Quaest and Phoenix, place Máximo at 17-20% combined first- and second-choice support, with Cristina, Scheid, and Mariana Carvalho (Republicanos) clustered between 10-15% and within margins of error. High undecided shares (20-30%) and shifts between first- and second-preference votes keep separation limited, as does the dual-vote structure that rewards broad appeal over singular frontrunners. Recent candidate interviews on issues such as garimpo legalization and amnesty have not yet produced measurable polling movement.
