This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Idaho. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Idaho, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Trader consensus centers on 600K-680K total ballots cast in Idaho’s November 3 U.S. Senate election, reflecting moderate midterm turnout expectations in a low-competition race.** Incumbent Republican Jim Risch holds a wide lead over independent Todd Achilles in a solidly Republican state, limiting voter mobilization compared with more contested contests. Historical patterns show Idaho general-election turnout typically ranges from the low 40s percent in midterms to the low 60s in presidential years; with roughly 1.1 million registered voters, the leading ranges align with roughly 50-60 percent participation. The May 2026 primary produced 30.1 percent turnout—slightly above recent averages—driven by competitive legislative primaries, but the general election lacks similar statewide sparks. Population growth and expanding registration have raised the absolute vote baseline, while the absence of high-profile ballot measures or close races supports steady rather than elevated participation. No major late-breaking events have shifted these dynamics in recent weeks.
