Trader consensus heavily favors the "Under" outcome for the Pikachu ex (likely the Special Illustration Rare from Ascended Heroes) at the $1,059.87 threshold, reflecting its current raw market price hovering near or below $1,000 amid cooling demand. Following an initial 2026 surge driven by strong critical reception and collector hype for the set's flagship chase card, prices have eased as supply increases through graded submissions and secondary market listings. Historical patterns for similar Pokémon TCG SIRs show rapid post-release depreciation once the novelty fades, with no major catalysts like new set releases or viral moments expected before September 30. While a sudden grading rush or renewed social media buzz could spark a short-term rebound above the line, the 20-day window and prevailing downward trajectory make such an upset improbable.
