**Trader sentiment for Miami's September 9 minimum temperature centers on the 78–81°F range due to persistent subtropical conditions and model consensus near seasonal norms.** Official National Weather Service observations recorded a 79°F low at 5:27 a.m., consistent with the 1991–2020 average of 77°F and recent years' values of 75–79°F. East-southeast winds, high humidity (64–90%), and limited overnight cooling from cloud cover or light precipitation kept temperatures from dropping further. No strong frontal passages or unusual atmospheric patterns emerged in the preceding days to shift the diurnal range. With the observed value falling squarely in the 78–79°F bin, market-implied probabilities reflect forecasters' and traders' assessment of typical late-summer thermodynamics rather than outlier cooling.
