Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to a minimum temperature near 70°F in Los Angeles on September 11, driven by lingering warm advection from a strong high-pressure ridge and limited marine-layer intrusion overnight. Persistent above-normal sea-surface temperatures along the coast have supported elevated low-level warmth, while light easterly winds may suppress typical nocturnal cooling. Historical September averages near 64°F provide context, yet current runs show limited spread toward cooler outcomes unless stronger onshore flow develops. Traders appear focused on the narrow 68–73°F window as the most probable resolution range ahead of final observational data from Los Angeles International Airport.
