Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts for Houston on September 11, 2026, consistently project afternoon highs of 91–93°F amid partly sunny skies, a 40–50% chance of scattered thunderstorms driven by Gulf moisture and the sea breeze, and heat indices near 102°F. This typical late-summer pattern—diurnal convection limiting peak heating—has held steady in model runs over the past several days, with no approaching fronts or tropical systems to alter steering or instability. Historical September averages near 90°F and recent observed highs in the low-to-mid 90s further anchor trader focus on the 90–93°F range, where the tight clustering of implied probabilities reflects both forecast consensus and the narrow uncertainty band around official guidance.
