Recent Quaest polling shows Marília Arraes (PDT) leading Senate intentions in Pernambuco at 17%, followed by Humberto Costa (PT) at 14% and Mendonça Filho (PL) at 11%, with the top three within the 3-point margin of error and 27% undecided plus 18% blank or null. Voters select two senators, positioning Arraes as the likely first-place finisher and leaving Costa and Mendonça in a near-even contest for second. Mendonça has narrowed the gap slightly since late August while both face comparable rejection levels around 38-40%. The concurrent tight gubernatorial race between Raquel Lyra and João Campos, along with potential last-month alliances and turnout patterns, could shift preferences among the remaining undecided voters before October.
