Incumbent Rich McCormick secured the Republican nomination for Georgia's 7th congressional district outright in the May 19, 2026, primary after facing no challengers and receiving every vote cast. This uncontested outcome produced the market's 100% consensus on a first-round winner, consistent with Georgia's rules allowing nomination without a runoff when a candidate exceeds 50%. The Democratic primary advanced to a June runoff between Tony Kozycki and Case Norton, but trader pricing centered on the Republican result. Late certification disputes, recounts, or legal challenges remain the only realistic factors that could still alter resolution, though none have emerged.
