Therese Terlaje secured the Democratic nomination in Guam's August 1, 2026, primary after a close contest against Lieutenant Governor Josh Tenorio, advancing with running mate Sabina Perez to face Republican nominee Vicente Ada and his running mate Edward Calvo in the November 3 general election. Incumbent Democratic Governor Lou Leon Guerrero is term-limited, opening the race in a territory with a Democratic lean in recent gubernatorial contests. Trader consensus reflects Terlaje's primary performance and party positioning as factors supporting her higher implied probability, while Ada's primary win and Republican platform provide the main counterbalance. Limited post-primary polling or major developments have kept the market focused on these established nominees and standard turnout dynamics ahead of election day.
