Lula holds the strongest position for first place in Amazonas in the October 4 first round, backed by consistent polling leads or technical ties in state surveys from June through August that show him at 38-44% against Flavio Bolsonaro at 35-39%, with all other registered candidates in low single digits or below. His incumbency advantages, established Workers’ Party organization, and stronger support across the interior municipalities—where nearly half the electorate resides—offset any narrower margins in Manaus. Fragmented opposition support among figures such as Renan Santos, Pablo Marçal, Ronaldo Caiado, Romeu Zema, and Augusto Cury further concentrates preferences on the two frontrunners. Recent state-level data and the approaching election date have shaped trader consensus reflected in current pricing.
