Incumbent Republican Tim Moore holds a strong position in North Carolina’s 14th congressional district ahead of the November 3, 2026, general election. The seat shifted toward Republicans following 2025 redistricting, carrying a Cook PVI of R+8 and consistent “Solid Republican” or “Safe Republican” ratings from major forecasters. Moore secured the nomination with 83% in the March primary and maintains a substantial fundraising edge, with over $1.5 million raised compared to Democratic nominee LaKesha Womack’s roughly $25,000 as of mid-2026. Womack won her March primary but faces structural headwinds in a district where recent polling and historical voting patterns favor the Republican nominee by double-digit margins. No major late-cycle developments have altered the race’s trajectory in recent weeks.
