This market will resolve based on the result of the election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Brazilian government, specifically the Superior Electoral Court (Tribunal Superior Eleitoral, TSE) (e.g., www.tse.jus.br/eleicoes/resultados-eleicoes).Marília Campos maintains her position as the frontrunner for first place in the Minas Gerais Senate race, supported by consistent leads in recent polls such as Real Time Big Data and Quaest, where she registers 13–21% in consolidated voting intentions ahead of Aécio Neves. Her profile as former Contagem mayor with strong local approval underpins trader pricing, while Aécio’s late August confirmation of candidacy after an initial withdrawal has lifted him to 10–14% and narrowed gaps with Carlos Viana, Domingos Sávio, and Marcelo Aro. Technical ties among multiple contenders persist amid 29% undecided voters and 21% blank or null responses, with the October 4 election still allowing room for shifts from campaign events, alliances, or turnout patterns before final resolution.
