Recent PAGASA forecasts and dynamical models indicate maximum temperatures in Manila on September 25 will most likely reach 32–33°C, consistent with the market’s leading implied probabilities. A strong El Niño event, with Niño 3.4 anomalies near +3.0°C, is driving warmer-than-average conditions across Luzon during the September 24–30 period. Southwest monsoon influences and localized thunderstorm activity, expected with 70–80% rain chances, may moderate afternoon peaks through cloud cover and evaporative cooling while sustaining high humidity. Historical September averages hover near 32°C, and the current 5-day PAGASA outlook lists 25–32°C ranges for Metro Manila. Updated model runs and the next PAGASA bulletin will refine steering patterns and intensification potential ahead of resolution.
