Lula holds a clear edge in Amazonas first-round polling, with recent surveys from Real Time Big Data, Quaest, and others showing him at 38-40% against Flavio Bolsonaro’s 35-39%, driven by strong interior support that offsets tighter competition in Manaus. The incumbent’s advantage stems from established PT infrastructure, targeted welfare expansions, and a May state visit that reinforced regional loyalty among lower-income voters. Flavio Bolsonaro trails amid a crowded field where minor candidates such as Renan Santos, Ronaldo Caiado, Romeu Zema, and Augusto Cury register low single digits or less. With the October 4 vote approaching and voter intentions largely settled, trader consensus reflects Lula’s consistent statewide lead and the structural barriers facing challengers in this key northern electorate.
